FTP setting

HOW TO SET FTP OF THE MODCHIP ?

OS version number 3245 or higher must be install on Smartxx, then downloadED @ CHIP 1.0 (or higher) on the officiel website : www.smartxx.com (2 Mo)

FTP = File Transfert Protocol
IP adress must be OK to use FTP mode, Smartxx use the same IP adress.
After download it and unzip, you must flash Smartxx with ED @ CHIP 1.0 in one of the bios bank.
 

Power on of the Xbox (of course you need to plug Ethernet before)
Send  ED @ CHIP 1.0 in the forlder C:\Bios (this is an exemple, you send it in another folder). For this, use an FTP soft, or send from CD ROM

go on "config" menu	then "Bios/ Bank Config"	select "Bankmode (Mid 2MB)" hold the both trigger to enter on this menu
choose "2048" then press on "A"	go on the folder where you can find  ED @ CHIP 1.0	then, select it
select "program flash now"	ED @ CHIP 1.0 bank appear	you can select it

When you start Xbox with  ED @ CHIP 1.0 selected,
Eject light buton is orange (exemple with an Green Xbox)

And, FTP fonction is install. To use it :

• Enter Xbox IP

• login : xbox

• pass : xbox

Warning, ED @ CHIP 1.0  doesn't word with G partition
