How to flash Smartxx Bios ?

When you buy a Smartxx, the modchip don't have bios, you must flash it

You must choose an empty bank to flash to flash, then select "config"

then "Bios/ Bank Config"	and "Flashing menu"

Smartxx can be flash :

• from CD ROM (format ISO 9960)

• from Xbox hard drive (partition C or E)

From CD ROM

choose "Open from CD ROM"	insert CD Rom with bios (you can put other files on CD Rom before burn CD, it's beter for Xbox to read this)	If you choose too big bios, you see this error message : "Load image too big"
start again the operation "Open from CD ROM" you can read "add CD Rom..."	waiting about CD...	choose a bigger bank
flash is possible	select "Program flash now"	to confirm flash, you must press the both trigger and "A"
bios writing on the Smartxx	select "Exit"	checking : bios is on place

It's possible to rename bios name or for the recent bios to detect automaticly

Since hard drive
(of course we suppose Smartxx FTP is OK and you have dowload bios on C:\bios)

select "Open from HDD C"	choose the good folder (C:\Bios)	select bios and bank
then "Program flash now", and wait...	you can flash few bios bank, linux Bios is allready on place

And now, you only need to choose if you want to start Linux from hdd (of course, you must install it before), or from DVD...
